Duo – the collection through the eyes of…

The participatory project Duo has been running since 2016. Its aim is to stimulate an active and creative dialogue between visitors and the museum collection. In this way, we want to bring our diverse range of visitors a little closer to the artworks through a personal experience. Since mid-2018, we’ve been calling on different targets group to enter into a dialogue with the museum through an intense creative project. We have already collaborated with the part-time (adult) education arm of Ostend’s City Art Academy (KAZ), with our youth platform, Untitled (young people aged 16 to 26), and with people from a different cultural background who have recently arrived in Belgium (in collaboration with the organisation FMDO).
