This film is a crucial work for an entire generation of Belgian artists from the second half of the 1980s. The theme of the film is boredom and emptiness. Lambrechts took her own boredom as the main theme of the film while she worked extremely hard to make it happen. We predominantly see scenes set in Brussels, but the film ends at the Belgian Coast.
