Where to find Mu.ZEE

 

By public transport 

Take the train or coast tram to Oostende Terminus station. From the station, take DE LIJN bus 6 and get off at the third stop, St. Jozefskerk. Mu.ZEE is on a side street off Alfons Pieterslaan.

 

On foot 



Mu.ZEE is less than 1 kilometre on foot from the station. Take Vindictivelaan past the marina. The road comes out on Alfons Pieterslaan. From the town hall, take the third turning on the left.

By car

  • Arriving via motorway E40 from Brussels to Ostend:

In Ostend, follow signs for the city centre (centrum). Past the second roundabout, turn left onto Alfons Pieterslaan at the next set of traffic lights (town hall) then take the third turning on the left.

  • Arriving via the coast road from Knokke:

In Ostend, follow signs for the city centre (centrum). At the roundabout, take the first right. At the next set of traffic lights (town hall), turn left onto Alfons Pieterslaan then take the third turning on the left.

 

  • Arriving via the coast road from De Panne: 

Drive to the town centre. Turn right in front of Casino Kursaal. At the second set of traffic lights (courthouse), turn right onto Alfons Pieterslaan. Mu.ZEE is on the third road on the left.

 

Parking nearby 

 

Using an outskirts car park

You can park your car for free in an outskirts car park and then use a bicycle for free or take the bus to Mu.ZEE. Outskirts car parks are open all year round at:

  • 3 and 23 Linieregimentsplein (at Maria-Hendrikpark) 
  • Churchillkaai at the station

These car parks are open seven days a week from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm. In July and August, they stay open until 10.00 pm.
 

Paying parking 


Paying parking applies every day (including Sundays and public holidays) in the town centre from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm.
