Scavenger hunt for young people

Visit the museum with a guide and become acquainted with a diversity of movements in modern and contemporary art. The guide will focus on more than merely the transfer of knowledge, but will invite the participants to enter into dialogue. The participants will learn to observe, recognise visual language and formulate their own opinions.
There are three options:
1. General introduction to modern and contemporary art
2. James Ensor, Léon Spilliaert and the world they lived in
3. Specific exhibition(s)

Nature of the activity: guided tour
Audience: secondary school, tailored to the age of the students
Duration: 1 ½ hours

Price: €60 per guide (max. group size: 20 people per guide)

 

Out-of-the-box (Only in Dutch)

Colouring outside the lines, thinking beyond the work of art, analysing the visual language, speculating about an artist’s intentions, and imagining how he lived and worked in a continually evolving society: the emphasis of this guided tour is on interaction. The participants will be invited to take part in various assignments and active discussions with a view to allowing them to learn more about various movements in modern and contemporary art.

Creative workshop
